Rachel Weeks is Founder & CEO of School House, a socially responsible collegiate fashion brand based in Durham, NC. Rachel founded School House while researching ethical manufacturing initiatives in Sri Lanka as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar, synthesizing her ideas about fair labor practices and women’s issues to create more fashionable college apparel.
Rachel was a Trinity Scholar at Duke University from 2003-2007 where she majored in Women’s Studies, and was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to Sri Lanka from 2007-2008. During her tenure as School House CEO, Rachel has gained expertise in a wide range of business issues and topics including:
Rachel has grown School House from one to 100 schools across the United States and Canada, and has been featured in Teen Vogue, WWD and The Wall Street Journal. Rachel still counts receiving the first School House t-shirt samples as highlight of her career.
