Why are there limited sizes and quantities available for certain items?
School House products are made in limited-run quantities customized for each campus we sign on. Inventory on our site varies by school and style depending on how many "overs" we produced for that school. As we continue to build our e-commerce inventory, we will continue to expand our product offerings to better serve you.
Is School House manufactured in Sri Lanka?
School House began manufacturing in Sri Lanka in 2009. However, as of Spring 2011, we are now manufactured in America. We’re proud of our ties to Sri Lanka and are happy to report that the living wage factory we helped create is still providing workers a fair wage and is still a thriving business.
What does "ethical manufacturing" mean?
For us, it means that we do not and will not exploit our employees and partners in the process of manufacturing and distributing our product. We pay premium prices and work one-on-one with suppliers and apparel workers in our facilities to ensure everyone is paid fairly, treated equitably and instructed with integrity.
Are you 100% Made in America?
Yes, all of our products are manufactured in American factories. While we are still required to source some components of our garments overseas—such as fabric that may not currently be knit in the United States—we continue to push ourselves to build a supply chain that is increasingly local.

When is School House coming to my college?
School House is constantly expanding its school roster and meeting with bookstores and companies across the U.S. to bring you fashionable fair wage collegiate clothing. We will notify our followers, fans and customers and update our campus roster as we continue to grow and add new schools. If you want to request School House products for your school, send us an email at info@shopschoolhouse.com. Please include your name, class standing and school in the body of the email.
How do you choose your campus roster?
One by one. We meet with independent bookstores as well as collegiate retailers like Barnes & Noble College, Follett Higher Education Group and Neebo to select our schools. When we work with collegiate bookstore retailers, our campus roster is partially determined by their personnel. However, School House strives to be your complete collegiate lifestyle brand, and meet the demand from all of our fans across the country. Email us if you’d like your school to carry our products at info@shopschoolhouse.com. Include “Bring School House to My Campus” in the subject line along with your name, class standing and school name in the body of the email.
Are you only sold through college bookstores?
Currently, the majority of our products are sold through college bookstores. However, we do have a select and growing amount of merchandise available on our website. Check back often to see if your school’s merchandise is available online; we’re expanding our products and schools daily and are working to bring you a better online shopping experience.
Where is School House located?
School House is located in downtown Durham, NC, near Duke University’s campus where School House received its first order.
I want to sell School House at my bookstore/boutique/store/etc.

Will School House design custom shirts for my organization?
School House can create custom tops, bottoms, shirts, etc. for your sorority, fraternity, campus group or organization. We have a minimum order of 72 pieces per style. If you’re interested in having us design and create custom School House products for your group, visit our contact form or email us at info@shopschoolhouse.com with “Custom Order” in the subject line. Please be sure to include your organization’s name, quantities, preferred styles and contact information (name, email and phone number).
I'm not sure what size to get - do you have a size chart?
School House currently designs clothing with a junior sizing and can run slightly smaller than your average garment. When in doubt, order a size up and refer to our sizing chart below.

What is your return policy?

There's a problem with my shipment.
We apologize for the inconvenience. If you are experiencing issues with your School House shipment, please contact our customer support by filling out our online contact form or calling us toll free at 1-800-278-2960 with your questions, comments or concerns. Serving you is our top priority and we’ll do our best to correct the problem.
How long will it take for me to receive my product?
Please refer to our shipping policy by clikcing on the "Shipping and Returns" link in the footer of any page on our website. Depending on your selected carrier and delivery option, it may take between 24-48 hours to process your order and between 2-7 business days for your order to reach your doorstep.
You don't have my size. When can I expect you to get more in? Can you contact me when it becomes available?
School House products are made in limited runs, and when we run out of product there is no guarantee we will get that same style back in stock. If we run out of a product on www.ShopSchoolHouse.com, your size and style may be available at one of our collegiate retailers. Use our store locator or view our campus roster to find a store near you. You can contact School House using our contact form or calling us toll free at 1-800-278-2960 if you have further questions.
Is there anywhere I can go to try on your products before I place my order?
You can try on our products at one of our partner college bookstore retailers near you. Use our store locator or view our campus roster to find your local School House retailer.
Can you ship internationally?
We currently do not ship internationally. We are working on bringing this service to our customers soon.

Will I be charged tax?
We are required to collect sales tax for deliveries to the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NV, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI and Washington, DC. The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order is shipped. We are required to collect tax on shipping charges where applicable.
Can I add or remove items from my order once it is placed?
Please note that once your order is submitted, we begin processing your order, which entails a number of steps. During this time we cannot add or remove items from your order.

How do I check my order status?
You can check the status of your order by logging in and locating your order number or order history. If the order has shipped, click on the tracking number to track the status of your package. We will also send you an email confirming your order and once your order has shipped, at which time we will provide you basic details about your order status and history.
